Dual study programmes at WEICON

Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics

work and study programme (m/f/d)

What you can expect

Are you still undecided whether you want to do an apprenticeship or a study course? And when it comes to studying, are you unsure whether you want to do business administration or computer science? Stop worrying, because we’ve got the right solution for you! By choosing the dual study course in Business Informatics, you can get everything you want.

The course combines theory and practice: you will alternate between theoretical training at FH Münster (the university of applied sciences) and other locations and hands-on training at our headquarters in Münster.

You will start your study course with an 18-month apprenticeship at our company – as an IT specialist for application development or system integration. From the very beginning, you will also attend academic lectures and practical workshops at the university. After the sixth semester, you’ll take the VWA diploma examination to become an IT business economist. At the end of the seventh semester, you’ll graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree. The practical training at WEICON takes place during the semester breaks. You will mainly work with the IT team, but you’ll also support other departments.
