Description
For comfortable longitudinal and round cutting I Easy working even at low temperatures I Precise, durable, replaceable turning blade I Protection of the conductors due to rounded blade tip I Safe working due to covered blade
The Dismantling Tool No. 25 is designed for stripping cables up to a sheath thickness of 5 mm. The knife can be used for both longitudinal and circular cutting. Circular cutting can be carried out on cables with an outer diameter of 25 mm or more. Cutting of the outer insulation is done by small lever movements and simultaneous pressing of the serration against the insulation. The tool consists of an impact-resistant polyamide body with an inserted, double-edged blade and a gear wheel connected to it. It safely enables longitudinal and circular cuts to be made on the cable outer sheath, irrespective of whether the work is carried out on the cable end or on intermediate pieces. The cutting depth can be adjusted in steps from 0 to 5 mm by simply turning the adjusting head (via detents of 0.1 mm). The shape of the blade allows stripping of the outer sheath, including any aluminium shields, up to a sheath thickness of 5 mm without damaging the underlying layers. The operation can be carried out without problems even at very low temperatures (-10°C). The blade of the tool has a hardness of min. 48 HRC and is easily replaceable.
